Let’s Bring SOLE Stepping to Your School

Is Your School a Good Fit?

 1. Do you serve children ages 3–11?
If yes, you’re off to a great start.

2. Do more than 50% of your students qualify for Free or Reduced-Price Lunch (FRL)?
If so, your school may be eligible for our program.

If your school meets both of these guidelines, we would love to connect with you.

What Does “FRL” Mean?

Free or Reduced-Price Lunch (FRL) is part of the National School Lunch Program.

  • Families earning at or below 130% of the federal poverty level qualify for free meals.
  • Families earning between 130% and 185% of the federal poverty level qualify for reduced-price meals.

We use this measure to help ensure we are reaching schools with the greatest need.

Who Can Refer a School?

You don’t need a special title to make a difference.

If you are a:

  • Student
  • Parent
  • School staff member
  • Community member

You can refer a school to SOLE Stepping.

Small Celebrations

In addition to our school partnerships, we host two special Small Celebrations each year for underserved or at-risk groups.

  • Groups must include fewer than 40 individuals.
  • These events are designed to uplift, encourage, and remind participants that they are seen and valued.
