2025

  In 2025, we proudly served five schools:


  • Oak Grove Elementary School – Lexington, SC
  • Nursery Road Elementary School – Columbia, SC
  • Frances Mack Intermediate School – Gaston, SC
  • Gilbert Elementary School – Gilbert, SC
  • Ridge Spring-Monetta Elementary School – Monetta, SC
     

We also expanded our reach beyond South Carolina, hosting our first out-of-state distribution in Pulaski, NY.


This year, just under 4,000 children received brand-new socks and sneakers through our program.

 In 2024, we partnered with six schools to expand our impact:


  • Lexington 4 Early Childhood Center – Swansea, SC
  • Sandhills Elementary School – Swansea, SC
  • Saxe Gotha Elementary School – Lexington, SC
  • Saluda Elementary School – Saluda, SC
  • Saluda Primary School – Saluda, SC
  • Pelion Elementary School – Pelion, SC
     

We hosted two small celebration distributions this year!


Together, we served more than 3,000 children, providing them with the essentials they need to step forward with confidence.

 In 2023, we had the privilege of supporting three schools:


  • Sandhills Primary School – Swansea, SC
  • Cayce Elementary School – Cayce, SC
  • Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School – Batesburg-Leesville, SC
     

We also hosted a small celebration distribution to make the year memorable!


Altogether, we reached over 2,000 children this year.

  • Riverbank Elementary School – West Columbia, SC
  • Congaree Elementary School – West Columbia, SC
  • Batesburg-Leesville Primary School – Batesburg-Leesville, SC
  • Red Bank Elementary School – Lexington, SC
  • Saluda Elementary School – Saluda, SC
  • Saluda Primary School – Saluda, SC
  • Centerville Elementary School – Gilbert, SC

  • Red Bank Elementary School – Lexington, SC

By the end of the year, we had reached more than 3,000 children.

  2020 looked different for us because of the pandemic's changes.  However, we delivered 208 pairs of shoes to 5 area schools to have on hand for any students in need.

 Due to changes within the school system, we were able to serve just under 400 children that year.

 We kicked off our very first distribution at Pelion Elementary School, serving 505 children and marking the beginning of our journey!

2017 – Expanding Reach 📈

  • The Rescue fully sponsors a second school.
