Welcome to SOLE Stepping
Since 2016, we have provided 19,000+ pairs of shoes to elementary school children experiencing poverty in South Carolina.
Encouraging souls one step at a time

A new, properly fitting pair of sneakers does more than just protect a child’s feet—it gives them confidence, comfort, and the freedom to move without pain. With the right shoes, children can run faster, jump higher, play longer, and fully participate in school and recreational activities. Each pair is a step toward empowerment, helping children feel capable, valued, and ready to embrace every opportunity that comes their way.
SOLE Stepping is a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides new shoes and socks to elementary school students in South Carolina. Shoes are often the most visible sign of poverty. With 1 in 5 children living in poverty, that’s a reality that impacts every school district in America. The simple gift of a new pair of shoes can positively change a child’s world.
